It sounds as if you might have a peripheral neuropathy, although not only is there not enough information offered to go on, but even if it is a neuropathy, there are so many diverse causes that it is far beyond the scope of this or any Internet forum to make any more of a definitive comment than I already have. A few such neuropathies may be from mechanical causes within the foot itself, but as the majority of neuropathies, IF that indeed is what you have, do not wind up being treated as simply podiatric problems, even though they present with symptoms in the foot, I would recommend that you first start off with a doctor of internal medicine and perhaps a neurologist if neuropathy is still suspected. |
