For the past two years I have had excrutiating pain in both of my feet. They feel sore and very stiff and sometimes I get shooting pains in them weather I have walked or not. I have gone to my doctor several times to get diagnosed and treated. He is stumped. He refered me to a podiatrist who ended up doing the surgery that helps stop the heel pain by cutting some tendons. He assured me that this was the problem and it would stop the hurting well, it didn't.
I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and I have heard that people who have Graves Disease also have experienced painful feet. A couple years ago I had the radiation treatment becasue my thyroid was overactive. I was told that if my feet were hurting due to my body being off whack with my thyroid condition that once I completed that and started getting hormone supplements my body would get back to normal and my feet should stop hurting. Well that has not helped either. Do you have any other ideas on what could be wrong with them? I feel like I am running out of options here. |
