It sounds as if your pain is due to a bump behind your small toe. If that is the case, you may have what is commonly called a "Tailor's Bunion" or "bunionette". This is a condition where the metatrsal bone behind the small toe is bent towards the outside and many times is painful due to pressure on that area from a shoe. A solution is either a softer, wide-toebox shoe, a pad over the area or surgery to correct the problem. Good Luck! |
